Create a brand

Branding or brand is used to set the chat's colors, logo, and links. This ensures that the chat blends seamlessly with the website's appearance. You can create multiple brands that can be used in the configuration of the chat widget. This is done in the Infinity portal under “Misc. > Live Chat Config > Branding”.

Start by setting a Title for your branding. The title is the name of your chat and will also be displayed in the menu of the chat widget. Preferably, use the company name.

The Name is what will be displayed at the top of your chat widget when the customer starts a chat session but before an assigned agent joins the chat. This is usually the same name as the queue in Infinity. Once an agent joins, the name changes to the name of the connected agent.

The Information Text is a brief message displayed before customers choose to start a new chat session.

The Logo URL is the web address of the logo or image you want to display when the chat-widget opens. In the Privacy URL field, you can link to your privacy policy and the Help URL links to the FAQ.

Color Scheme

Set the colors for how the chat widget will appear on the website. The list below shows where the colors in the widget are used.

1. Main Color The color of the chat icon and the color displayed at the top of the chat window.

2. Main Text Color The color of the text at the top of the chat window.

3. Agent Chat Bubble The color of the chat bubble from the agent.

4. Agent Chat Text The color of the text in chat bubbles from the agent.

5. Customer Chat Bubble The color of the customer's chat bubble.

6. Customer Chat Text The color of the customer's text in the chat.

7. Send Button The color of the send button in the chat widget.
