Send SMS from Communicator and Mobile App

You can easily send an SMS from the Communicator by pressing the SMS icon in the left menu, or choose a contact and press the SMS icon next to their Cell number. Then simply type the text you want and press send.

Note that this requires access both in the Infinity portal and also from activated from Infracoms side for it to work, since the Communicator uses the server to send the SMS.

When you are going to send the SMS you can also select which number you want it to be sent from. Remember that the Communicator does not handle incoming SMS and if you select your cell number, the receipent to any texts back will be the mobile phone connected to that number.

In the Mobile app you also have the possibility to send SMS by pressing the SMS icon next to someones cell number. The Mobile app opens the Phones Text Message app instead of using the server and the SMS is then sent from the local mobile phone and will present the mobile phones number as the sender.
