Teams - Spam Likely
Microsoft is identifying calls as being likely spam calls. Microsoft detects or assumes that the callees number is used for spamming purposes identifying these calls with the SPAM LIKELY information in the call toast.
What mechanisms is used for this is not totally clear, it could be looking at a database or specific patterns, we have noticed it happening for short number calling (three or four digits).
This function Is enabled by default and if not wanted needs to be disabled by using PowerShell.
Where the SpamFilteringEnableType can be set as: Enable, Disable or EnabledWithoutIVR
Note that this applied to the defined Voice CallingPolicy: Global and you might be using another Voice Calling Policy for your users.
