# Installing Infinity Teams app step-by-step

## **Download the Infinity Teams app**

From **version 1.3.0** onward the Infracom Infinity Teams app is available through the Microsoft Teams App Store enabling you easier handling of installing the app as well updating our Infinity Teams app to future versions. You can find our app for download at Microsofts App Source ([here](https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/office/WA200008617?tab=Overview)) or via the Microsoft Teams client → Apps. **Installation through the Teams Client:**

1. Click the Apps ikon on the left hand menu in the Microsoft Teams Client.

2. Under "Search app and more" write eiter: **Infinity** or **Infracom** as a search term and press enter.

3. Identify the Infinity Teams app

4. Press **Add**, and a new window will be dispalyed (see below) and press **Add** again.

5. The Infinity Teams App will be installed and you can choose to open it directly.

6. Make sure to **pin** the Infinity Teams app where you want to have in the left side menu bar of the Microsoft Teams client to have quick access to it. **Note:** Users that have had older versions of our Infinity Teams App should uninstall the older version and might have to clear their local Microsoft Teams Client cache (see [here](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/troubleshoot/teams-administration/clear-teams-cache)) if data is not shown corcectly for them.

**Installation via the Microsoft Teams Admin Center (TAC):** 1. Log into your TAC with at least Teams Administrator user rights. 2.In the TAC go to **Teams app** then **Manage app** 3. Under **All apps** in the search field “Search by name” seach for:**Infinity**

**Updating the Infinity Teams App**

Keep check on new updates in the TAC as well through our information updates. Depending the changes made in the new app version the Microsoft Teams administrator needs to update the app for all of the organisation otherwise the app will automatically update to a new version. ### **User Side**

On the users side check to see that the click-to-call feature is set up correctly.

In Windows search for Default Apps in the Windows Searchbar and go to Default Apps.

Choose default applications by protocol and select **Teams** for the **TEL** (URL:tel)-link.
