To configure the integration, start with Supportpal and then set up the Communicator.
In the clients you need the following from Supportpal
Domain, for example support.company.com
API Token - the same token can be used for multiple users
To get the API Token, log in as an admin in Supportpal and Go to Settings and API Tokens.
Select Read Only
Save the token and press Submit.
In the Communicator
When you get an incoming call or make an outbound call to a number that we can locate to a user within your Supportpal, it will show in the Call tab and you are able to click it to pop the Supportpal User page open connected to that number
First of all press The Automations and Integrations button in the left menu and choose Integrations. Then Click Supportpal.
Fill in the following data:
Domain - your company Supportpal domain
Token - the one you got from your Supportpal Admin portal above
Country Code - your country code
Triggers - choose on which events the integration should automatically launch Supportpal
In the example only answered incoming calls will launch Supportpal but you can still launch Supportpal manually from outgoing calls.
Accounts - choose for which of your accounts/devices you want the triggers to be active
In the example Supportpal will launch when you answer the call in any device
A green checkbox will show on the right side of the Application if the Credentials were valid and the Communicator could connect to Supportpal properly.
Now you're all set!
In Microsoft Teams with CallApp
When making or reciving a call with Microsoft Teams we can locate user with same phone number in Supportpal. You will be able to click or have users tickets displayed in your web browser.
Go to your settings tab in Teams CallApp and click Supportpal.
Enter domain and token from previous step in Supportpal and click Save.
