Article summary

You can get Salesforce information directly on incoming calls in both in our Communicator and in Microsoft Teams with our Infinity Teams App. You can also load the customer in Salesforce to access history and more.

In Microsoft Teams with Infinity Teams App 

You will get contact information from salesforce directly in your Infinity Teams App in Microsoft Teams and it will open contact cards in salesforce system without you having to search for the number yourself. You will see the contact information and be able to open information from the CRM button in your Infinity Teams App.


Configuring Infinity Teams App

Log into Salesforce in your default browser.  Choose the Salesforce toggle button in Infinity Teams App settings on the right hand side under Integrations in the Teams Infinity App, a pop-up window will show a code. 

Copy the 8-digit code shown in the pop up window and click Sign in to Salesforce.

A new browser tab will show up where need to paste the shown code in your window and then click Connect.

If you have not signed into salesforce you will be prompted to do so. The browser window will change its information. Check the presented access list and Allow access for the Infracom Communicator Connector.

When done choose how the integration is to happen in the Teams Infinity App (for example, to open the CRM integration only once the call has been answered) and press Save

Another pop-up will show with a new code (as when first activating the Salesforce integration for the first time), press Done and your choices will be saved.  



In the Communicator


When you recieve or make calls from/to a number associated to a Contact or Lead in your Salesforce, it will show in the Communicator.

To open the Contact in Salesforce, press the "Salesforce" text.

Configuring the Communicator

Log into your Salesforce account in your default browser. The Integrations settings are found in the left menu, press the toggle button to activate Salesforce Integration.

 Your browser will now open showing a message telling you to Connect. Just simply press the Connect button.

Then you'll be redirected to the Salesforce Login Page. Please Login and you're all set.

Now you're connected to Salesforce and can start working even more effective.

Setting up how the integration should work

You can make the Communicator open the Salesforce contact automatically when answering a call, or making an outbound call etc. You reach the settings by pressing Salesforce in the integration menu.

  • Triggers - choose on which events the integration should automatically launch Salesforce
  • Accounts - choose for which of your accounts/devices you want the triggers to be active
